While it comes with extra leads, I only wish it came with a second metal tip for applications where I don't need to draw but scratch.I love this design though, IMO so much better than any classic design that has the angles which are totally off, it doesn't move, or twist on me, if you wish to make both ends leads you can as it's built the same both sides, but today I use it in reverse to scratch circles into leather for tooling.It's easy to get the exact size you need when using a ruler and it stays there, and it's compact enough to go with the rest of my tools, and it just looks awesome. What more could anyone really want? Worth the investment and that's hardly anything!

Great value , adjustable, it's only as accurate as the person that uses it, so far it seems to do very well.

So far so good. Just received it. From the looks of it, looks like a solid product, unlike the ones I had in the past made of plastic which tend to bend and lose their accuracy.This product looks solid and comes with extra lead will update if anything changes.

Overall the compass looks durable, but it was designed rather poorly considering it's impossible to put the metal pin for the anchor point in. The pin just slides back in or pops out with the slightest pressure. It needs to have some better way of securing the pin and I've seen a lot of compasses without this issue for just a little more money or even a geometric compass with a mounted pencil works and is very cheap. I'd rather spend a little more on a good compass than waste it on this one.

I bought two of these for my middle school kids. One had the spare lead and screws - the other did not. I did not realize this until one of my children had opened the package and removed the label from it, or I would have exchanged it. Be careful when opening up everything to make sure all is included as it should have been. - UPDATE - Seller provided a replacement product at no charge. I am completely satisfied.

The metal piece and lead keep going inside of the compass and you need to fix them like every 3 minutes. Okay for your moneys worth, but if you need to use it for school or frequently, i recommend getting another one.

Works great, metal construction makes it reliable and accurate.

Use this when I am working on geometric constructions and translations for practice in drafting, works well and is very responsive
