I’ve ordered Cestari Kitchen products before, so naturally, this is what I searched for when looking for a garlic press. I’ve owned a lot of presses in my life and this is BY FAR the BEST press I’ve ever owned. Professional grade and ergonomically designed, this press is a joy to use. It presses multiple cloves with ease, no more having to chop the cloves up to get them to fit. And it comes with a garlic slicer! In all my years, I have never had a press that comes with a slicer. The pieces come out paper thin, just as you want them. It cleans up beautifully and even comes with a bonus cleaning tool that stores in the handle, so you don’t have to rummage through your tool drawer to find it. Thanks, Cestari for making a great garlic press!

January 5, 2021 The replacement press I received also broke after about a year of infrequent use. The plastic used in this tool must be really bad. I have gone to Cestari's website and tried contacting them through the website. The phone number I called last time is not working now. So I guess I will see if they will get in touch with me and continue to honor their lifetime warranty.January 27, 2020 The frame/handle of the garlic press is well built and heavy duty, but after a handful of uses over the course of 11 months, the garlic press broke. You see from the pictures that the plastic plunger that pushes the garlic into the slicer has broken in half. This plastic piece is also necessary for the press side of the tool to work correctly. So now, neither side of this tool works.This seller/manufacturer says they have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. I contacted the seller and indeed - they are replacing the garlic press at no cost to me.

Well I guess when your cooking food for loved one, anything that helps you make food easier and better could be considered a jewel. I have used it press garlic for soups, casseroles and all types of Italian meals so far. Foods taste for my better with fresh pressed garlic, than the garlic that comes in jars. I've even had a friend who saw it come over and pressed the garlic for her cooking over my house. The press was easy to use and I'm sure it will last for the next generation of my family to use.

Initially I loved this product. It felt sturdy and minced garlic well although it did need some pretty strong squeezing from me (my stainless zyliss was much easier to use). I paid full price for it ($39.99) so am pretty annoyed to see it as discounted as it is now ($19.99). What annoys me even more is that shortly after the return window closed the press broke, rather spectacularly! My best guess is that the plastic blade protector was cracked and the pressure of squeezing pushed the plastic against the metal in a way that made several of the blades ping off and fly into the food I was preparing. This shouldn't happen with anything that is used for food prep but even more so for such a premium priced product!

This is no cheap garlic press. Its goood for slicing garlic too. Great quality, doesnt bend, nice stlye, and heavy duty. I was able to press 3 garlic cloves at once without peeling them. I love this. I use garlic for cooking weekly in dishes and appetizers. Garlic is so good for you, I try to add it frequently to evening meals and this press is the best press I have ever used. Besides the mincer, the slicer is a great addition. You can also slice tumeric and ginger. The handle and extra large size makes it easy to mince the garlic, if you have trouble with your hands, this garlic press will still allow you to be able to use it. It doesnt take alot of squeezing like other garlic presses. I am so happy with this press, I highly recommend it.

This garlic press is a heavy, good quality garlic press. It comes in a fancy box - appropriate for gift giving. I use a lot of garlic in my cooking, so I was looking for something that would make meal prep go more quickly. I do like that you can press unpeeled cloves of garlic - although I prefer to peel them first so that less garlic is wasted. The garlic slicer is a nice feature that I don't think I've ever seen on other garlic presses. They come out in perfect little slices. The press comes with a little plastic piece (which is stored in the handle) to clean the small holes in the garlic press. Overall, I was impressed by both the appearance and functionality of this press. I would would recommend this to others and would consider giving it as a gift as well.

I chose this garlic press because of its beautiful design; however, there is a plastic piece that broke making it unusable. I was very pleased with the excellent customer service, they sent an apologetic email and replaced the entire product!

My star reviews may seem ambiguous. many of us seem to be having the same problem with that plate coming off, however, even three months later, I received an immediate response to my email and a no-hassle replacement from the company, as their product has a lifetime warranty. The material and slicer in this product far exceeds any press i’ve ever owned. i hope they figure out a way to correct the issue of the plate detaching.
