Product Description Earnshaw timepieces are modern day watchmakers, named in honour of their eighteenth century inspiration, Thomas Earnshaw, have created a new collection of watches to mark the first expedition to circumnavigate the Australian shores. HMS Investigator, which crossed the seas to the shores of Australia in 1801, was considered the best vehicle for the voyage to the Antipodes. Built as Xenophon, a bulk cargo ship, she was identified as the perfect vessel for a long exploratory voyage as her commercial role meant that she had good storage space for supplies, even though she was in fairly bad repair. After undergoing a refit to prepare her for the voyage, she was renamed the Investigator and was deemed ready to set sail. For the most part the Investigator sailed an uneventful voyage, and most remarkable were the two boxed timekeepers or chronometers built by eighteenth century watchmaker Thomas Earnshaw that were kept aboard the board. The ship’s captain, Flinders, went to shore regularly to check the settings of the chronometers against the stars. The Earnshaw chronometer was the only one working at the end of the journey, causing Flinders to refer to it in his book A Voyage to Terra Australis as "this excellent timekeeper". Looks good but hard to set.
Found it hard to set day and date but loved the look of watch. It is also comfortable to wear.

Do not buy this watch or any watch made by this company. Although it may look attractive it does not keep accurate time and runs fast within a couple of days. For a watch of this price and the self aggrandising description I expected better. I will be returning mine.

Elegant watch
Beautiful watch but smaller than I thought it would be, with so much going on in the dial not for anyone with less than perfect sight. It's a very elegant watch just not large enough to do it justice

Shame the performance didn’t match the appearance
Unfortunately for a good looking watch the two I received did not keep time and stopped, both had to be returned. It is a good looking watch and did come well presented, but their quality control fell short

Montre de qualité qui fait son effet. Bracelet cuir robuste. Mouvement automatique qui est efficace. Sur le remontoir la petite pierre est du plus bel effet

Montre inutilisable
Bel esthétique mais impossible de régler la date, le mois, …les boutons de réglage ne sont pas utilisables sans outil.Notice uniquement en anglais (heureusement je le comprends et je le parle) ; j’ai contacté le vendeur en Angleterre (Thomas Earnshaw Watches Support Team) qui n’a pas su me dépanner !J’ai perdu 4 heures ; J’ai retourné la montre !

Montre automatique Earnshaw
J'ai aimé la montre. Elle est très précise pour une automatique, en tout cas les premiers jours. Belle finition externe. La parti mécanique interne visible ne montre pas une finition de grand niveau, mais pour le prix ce n'est pas étonnant.J'aurais aimé avoir la possibilité d'acheter cette montre avec un bracelet métallique. Je serais prêt à l'acheter séparément si disponible.
