Good quality
Well worth the money! 👍👍 Plan to order more and they come in different sizes too. I got the 100 leaf set and they came vacuum sealed and in two bundles so don't mind the picture by that time I had already took a bundle apart to start putting them in tanks.

A must have for fish and shrimp keepers.
So many other leaves are overpriced and this is the best value for money around. My fish and shrimp love them and if you soak them for a day they don’t stain your water if you use them as a food source. Otherwise the tannins are beneficial to fish health and keep eggs from fungising. They will color your water brown but this is benificail and can be avoided as described above.

They are HUGE! My Bristlenose Babies LOVE them!
One day, I had a few dozen new fish in the tank and did not know what to do with them. The local fish store sold me 5 of these Almond leaves, that were not as big for waaaaaay more than I paid for this bag. It is a VALUE!The fry like to graze and feed off the bio-film that builds up on the leaves. As the get bigger, the eat the leaves themselves and leave just the skeleton of the leaf behind. The leaves themselves have botanical that have antibacterial properties, and can lower the PH of the tank. They WILL release tannins that WILL Darken the water to a diluted tea color. It is a good idea to soak them overnight to release some of the tannins. I also give it a quick rinse before putting the leaf in the tank. I am now up to 60 some babies and a leaf lasts a week or so.

SO MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE
I have almost 500 gallons worth of aquariums and I use heavy tannins in ALL of them. These are NOT just for Bettas, guys! Not long ago, my Oscar got a gash on her head from jumping to catch a moth that had gotten trapped under the lid. I added about 25 leaves to her 150 gallon tank… By the next morning, the water was a deep, rich amber color and her wound was already showing improvement. Within 48 hours, there wasn’t a mark on her and it was a pretty good sized gash.Since I started using heavy tannins, I can barely remember the last time I had a sick fish.I tend to forage my own botanicals as much as I can but do not have access to Catappa leaves and they have the most bang (tannins) for the buck. Pet stores sell THREE leaves for like 10 bucks! It’s ROBBERY! But here I can buy them 100 at a time for $15. Cannot beat that. They are not all the pretty red ones. But they are good sized, all of my orders have arrived with all 100 leaves intact and were delivered promptly. I’ve ordered from here multiple times and I’m always posting links on FB in my aquarium groups.Great value, great product. Will definitely buy again. A lot. 😉

Risk of Spiders + Beetles corpses
ALL ORGANISMS WERE DEAD, just removed the webs on the leaves just in case.At some point between transport and packaging some spiders and beetles ended up trapped in the packaging I got. The Spiders lived long enough to make Spiderwebs all over the ends of the leave and a few webs in the leaves. My first worry was that it was Fungi, but luckily just plain Spider web under closer inspection.I didn't look at the beetle closely, but the Spiders looked to be a rather common house spider that avoids people and isn't too dangerous.Anyway, Lots of Leaves, and No Fish Deaths. Hurray. Even had a Betta get sick with Severe Pineconing Dropsy recover while using the leaves. Been using the leaves for the past 2-3 months without issues. Haven't dared put them in the axie tank yet, but they haven't harmed any of the scuds, snails, or blackworms.//I did place the leaves in the freezer for a week before use, JUST IN CASE.//

Excellent
They smell good! I was very excited that they are large. I didn’t see any evidence of any mold or nastiness. Very good quality.

Seeing the size in person I’d easily have paid double
For real, these leaves are huge. For $10? You aren’t going to get a better price. I think this is my first review I’ve ever left but I had to because these are massive and such a good price!
