After reading reviews wasn't over excited about it , well it's just a latch and one of the reviews have been not great however I went ahead and ordered after mine broke and to be honest am very impressed with this product ,No chipped paint the quality is much better than the one the contractors fitted on my back gateNo instructions are included but it's a fairly simple DIY job and with all work of you are not competent then ask someone who isVery pleased and delivery was fast

Its ok. I give it 4 stars rather than lower as don't think many are any better really. Doesn't self latch, despite a good closer on the gate, just not smooth enough to do so and fiddled around with it no end to do so. I really wanted it to due to kids forgetting to make sure it's shut due to dogs!Loose operation, about a quarter turn before anything happens.It does the job just about, but certainly not refined and anywhere near perfect operation. I doubt it's longevity as Well, I don't think it will take much abuse at all to be honest

Good, chunky latch. Feels good quality. Arrived well packaged and promptly. Looks lovely on my door... Gives it a cottagey, rustic appearance.

Excellent product that arrived on time. The spindle required shortening but that wasn't a surprise and easy to achieve. The handle looks good and works well.

Good quality product for an outside gate.

Bought this to replace a age old one which had broken. Product was well packaged and came with the required fittings. Very easy to fit and was able to use the old spindle which saved time cutting the replacement. Looks good on the gate and so far seems to function well with no issues to report. Would certainly recommend.

Does the job. The spindle that comes with it may have to be cut to length depending on the width of your gate. Each handle takes 1cm so allow 1cm each side plus the width of your gate to get your exact length.
