Bought this for my weimaraner because he runs HOT. If it his 70 degrees he's panting. This vest works really well and keeps him cool for our hikes. Easy to clean. The zipper can be a smidge tricky but if you dog isn't a squirmy worm should you have no problem getting it on! It fits smoothly under a harness. So glad I bought one for him.

We bought this cooling vest due to living in a hot dry summer climate. We avoid going out in the hottest part of the day. Still, our pup spends an hour and a half each day in 90’s temps. This cooling vest fits well using the sizing recommendations provided by manufacturer. It holds the water and we recharge it before completely dry. Underneath she is noticeably cooler than air temp. She prefers to run naked and rolls in the dirt making this vest a muddy mess, but it doesn’t seem to affect the performance. Back home it washes out beautifully, without a stain left (we bought the salmon colored vest). I would buy it again.

We took this in our walk and the very first time using it, the zipper broke before the walk was even over. Also the size is not accurate my dog should have been an xl and the fabric covers his lower abdomen like picture but the negative part is having to constantly rolling it up when he stops on the walk multiple times to use the bathroom. Sadly we cannot return it due to it being barely outside the time period. We were hoping to exchange it for even just a new one with a not faulty zipper to give it a second try but we have no way to contact the seller. Hoping to find a way soon.

1st a little expectation management, we live in lower Alabama, it’s hot and humid. My boy is a Belgian Malinios with a short light coat, and tons of energy and drive.This vest means me and my boy can ride together in summer. We’ve done 3 rides varying in speed and distance. Heat index was 99* to 104* on rides. We’ve focused on one trail that has a bike washing station at trail head for access to copious amounts of fresh water. Plus trail has several loops of varying distance. I am building my pups conditioning for longer rides and trips in the cooler season.This vest is a game changer!!! Previously he just could not ride with me in summer, especially on days when it is impossible to do early rides.I frequently recharge vest and cool pup down, before it dries out. Interval of recharging varies by ride intensity, meaning faster the pace the shorter the recharge interval. Constantly monitor him for signs heat is getting to him. I discourage him using creeks and avoid ponds altogether for recharging, kinda concerned about certain wildlife. This is lower Alabama after all.Water on the vest with dirt from trails makes mud, that rinses off easily and the stuff that doesn’t rinse off brushes off after drying out completely.I’d recommend this vest to anyone that understands that this is not a “set it and forget it” device. It is a great product in my opinion but only helps reduce risk of heat injury it with proper planning and monitoring. Especially for high drive dogs that will literally go until hurt themselves. This vest as a training adjunct and risk mitigation is a total game changer.

The quality seemed pretty good as far as the material and cooling components. I can see how the zipper is not super strong. However the large was way too big and the medium was too small for my dog and it’s not adjustable.

I bought this for my service dog, she gets really hot in the summer and I have been looking for a solution. It hasn’t been hot enough for her to need it working but we have used it a few times on runs and it seems to keep her pretty cooled down. It fits her really well and is easy to put on and off. I appreciate how easy it is to use.

As the title says, it seems to stay wet (and cool) longer than I expected. My dog doesn't seem to mind it. She hasn't worn it for a very long time, but on walks it held its moisture (more so on the bottom, not being in the sun and all). On a hot, 2 mile walk only the top started to dry out.

First use and the zipper was out of alignment. When I was finally able to back it up and unzip, I was able to use it and it worked well. Kept me black lab cool in 95+ degree heat. There is now a broken tooth on the zipper, most likely from me attempting to fix it. Kind of frustrating for such an expensive shirt

My Swiss shepherd is quite high-drive and never stops even if she's about to overheat. When wearing the wet vest I've noticed that not only her chest and armpits are cooler but also her paws and nose. Still her belly and inner thighs keep being pretty hot so I wish there was a longer version.I'm re-wetting the vest about every 20 minutes for optimal cooling. Keep in mind that this isn't magic - it cools them down to some extent but they could still overheat if it's too hot outside or if they are doing high intensity activities for longer periods of time.It's awesome for agility since it doesn't restrict the body movements in any way.As other users mentioned you should be careful with the zipper it feels fragile and the mesh could be hard to clean if the dogs gets into thick mud or sticky grass.My 28kg Swiss shepherd wears size L.

My dog really suffers in the heat so purchased this vest last year - it is fantastic!
