Q: What size (diameter) hose so you have to use with this?

My pump is MODEL SFMP1-120-01 It takes either a 1-1/2 ID Non-collapsable vacuum hose on the Suction side. If you want to use a pipe fitting you must cut off the Hose Barb and you can use a 1-1/2 inch female pipe fitting on it. Then you can hard plumb it. The discharge side takes a 1" or a 1.88" ID hose. Use all 100% 316 stainless steel hose clamps. Double them up to be safe. I hope this helps. Chuck

Installed one on my boat 2 years ago. Has worked well ever since. The jabsco pumps only last one year. The sea flow pump keeps pumping along. Good value for the money
