My husband and I have had lots of fun while the kids are at school searching our local beaches for treasures. Summer is right around the corner. Thinking of ways to keep the kids entertained this year I thought they would enjoy treasure hunting as well. I am happy to report that this kids metal detector it’s pretty awesome.It’s the perfect size for my 9 year old. it’s lightweight and easy for him to maneuver~ and it’s ever so accurate at detecting different metals.It came beautifully packaged so he could not wait to try it out.He has found a ton of loose change in our front yard. It’s so far has been able to detect metal about 2 inches deep. I find that to be pretty impressive.Set up was simple. Just a few snaps of pieces together took about 5 minutes, a quick calibration and he was up and going-I plan to buy another for my 7 year old.Totally worth the price

I bought this metal detector for my 6 year old grandson he was so eager to get it we opened it right away. I was surprised at how easy it was for him to put it together and figure out how to use it. He started going around the house detecting metal right away! He was very excited. I was very happy with the convenience and price of the product as well. Thank you for the nice gift option, I'm sure it will provide hours of discovery and fun.

Got this for my son's 8th birthday. He LOVES it! He spent a good few weeks reading the walls and floors and everything in-between. It seemed to do very well, we had a bit of trouble with the sensitivity but eventually got it. My oldest son used it and now it won't work correctly, the sensitivity is just off or on. No in between. I'm not sure what happened as he was just walking with it. We will be replacing and trying a new one, same company. It is AWESOME for beginners though! He uses the tools and the case and its so much fun!

My son got it last year and he takes this all the time with him when he goes outside. It definitely keeps him occupied and the rest of the kids with him. Highly recommended for 6+ age

We got this as a birthday gift and the handle length is good for a child. Calibrating it was a little tricky, but we managed to figure it out. After a few uses, the on/off knob started to spin freely. We were able to line it back up and tighten it, but it leaves us wondering if there will be future issues with construction. Using it was simple and easy to figure out, and yielded some findings pretty quickly. It's nice that it same with a bag and digging supplies.

Bought 2 Metal detectors for our twin granddaughters 8th birthday. These were on their wish list because their friends had metal detectors and they wanted to get in on the fun. These are easy to use, light weight, and pretty accurate. They even tried them in the house. These are a great value. Lots of fun to use even the adults wanted to try them out. Looks like they will provide lots of outdoor entertainment. I highly recommend.

This metal detector was a gift for my younger son for his birthday. It broke before he could even try to use it over summer. There is a cheap plastic piece that can either withstand the weight of the detector head, or it was defective since we got it. 🤷‍♀️ It was easy to setup with minimal help. The sensitivity was negligible when we used it once inside as there was a fine line between when it worked to consistently beeped. I would spend a few bucks more to get a higher quality metal detector for your child.Update: After contacting the seller, they offered to replace my son’s broken metal detector with a new one. Really appreciate the excellent customer service.

Exactly what my son wanted. He loves to use it in the undeveloped part of our subdivision. I even use it to find our sprinkler heads in the yard!
