Works well. My only complaint is that the lids take a little while to flatten out after transit and regularly pop up. All solved by putting a small weight on the top though.

Sadly had to return both bins as the lids were warped and didnt close .so no seal could be made

Came promptly and good quality, lid seals very well which is important to keep smells in, which it does entirely. Instructions are a little vague and things don't happen in anywhere near the time stated, it takes much longer to break down. Had my first juices only after I added a little water. Still waiting on the finished fermented compost, but my daughter says it will come. Definitely good to have a two pack.

I’ve heard only positive reviews of Bokashi composts so decided to give it a try.This is supposed to be a pre step before moving the remaining mass to regular compost, please don’t expect this will make your compostable things into liquid and disappear as someone expected in reviews. But it should give you a natural fertilizer first in a short time and compost booster afterwards. Can’t comment on scent as it arrived only today, but will update later. So far the two buckets seem sturdy, lid feels suitably airtight, the taps were a bit tricky to fit due to small space but nothing too problematic. It’s the whole starter kit with two complete buckets, measuring cup, presser, one kg of brain and simple manual. I prefer two buckets to have continuous system running. Let’s see how it works.

The product is actually fine. My issue is that one of the lids is missing. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake and sending out an extra lid, they want the whole thing packing back up and sending back. Your mistake, your responsibility to fix it.

These feel like they’re made from cheap, brittle plastic and won’t last long. I also question how air tight they are because they release a smell you wouldn’t want indoors and one of mine was gnawed open by a squirrel. (See photo.)
