I've used this brush for both my hair and my beard for a couple months now. It's holding up very well and does an outstanding job. I know better than to get it wet. I was shocked by the number of bad reviews where people complained about it falling apart after getting it wet. Come on people, you should know better than to use this brush on wet hair or in the shower. Getting the wood and boar hair wet will cause it to swell and split....common sense. At least towel-dry your hair before using a wood and boar hair brush people.

The bristles don't lose their firmness after a short time, what more can I say? it works very well for my somewhat rough hair, and I use it for my beard sometimes as well, good product, give it a shot.

I was hoping for this brush to smooth out the hair specially when I put my hair up in a ponytail. It doesn’t feel like I have much control when I use it and it only touches the surface of my hair. It does not go down to the roots.. I’m still trying to learn the tricks about this type of brush but so far it does not perform as I was expecting it. However, it looks like a nice item, well manufactured. It feels good in your hand as the handle and the brush itself it’s wide.

This medium Diane brush has the perfect stiffness and I love the shape of these brushes. I originally purchased the soft Diane brush which I really liked but it wasn't quite firm enough, I now have both. I start with a medium and finish with the soft brush. Dog loves being brushed with these brushes. Would definitely recommend both the soft and the medium.

For the price it's an okay brush. Easy to handle and wide face. Bristles could be abit stiffer but it's hard to tell about something like this when you can't see it before purchasing. As I say, for the price if it doesn't last long it's not a big loss. Probably would not buy again.
