Q: I purchased the haus lipquid, and love it, but i cannot figure out how to sharpen it? can you help me? my husband tried as well, and we cannot do it.

Happy to help! Our EYE-DENTIFY GEL eyeliners are sharpenable, not twist up - they can be sharpened with any cosmetic sharpener you have in your makeup bag (though we suggest sharpeners made in Germany for best results).

I got one from Amazon. Elf cosmetics. I think the key to sharpening this eyeliner is to go for it. I usually go slow and I've ruined so many pencils that way. The Elf sharpener, both sides sharpen it. I switch sides, if I remember to.

Q: How would I know if a sharpener is made in Germany?

Depending on the manufacturer, you can often find it printed on the sharpener itself. Hope this helps!

Q: Are these gel eyelineras good as the liquid eyeliners that were discontinued?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! This 'gel' eyeliner replaces the 'liquid' eyeliner of the same name. Unfortunately, this is not obvious at all because you can "reorder" the eyeliner that was once liquid and instead, you get the gel type. It smears everywhere, it transfers to my bottom lash line (which I don't apply it to) and it transfers to my eyelid. Within 2 hours, I look terrible. Then, it's incredibly hard to remove, even with make-up wipes. I felt ripped off because I reordered 'liquid' and this is a totally different product!
