Rhode Island Novelty 12 1 inch Metal Slinky Springs for Party Favors

Purchased these for co-workers as fidget toys. Items are metal as described and great quality. Will likely buy again once I run out. Toys like these don't hold up well to the pull of little kids but teens and adults will probably enjoy the pocket sized fun. Doesn't really "walk" like their larger siblings but then again I have one already and didn't expect them to.[Update] I bought these a second time because they were a big hit at work AND the price went down!Same great quality with a few differences mainly in the gold side with this second batch. The dye used was not uniform which caused some to be more green and others to be more red. Not a knock against them as the different colors make them unique and special. The color does wear off over time but that's hardly a problem. They're less than $1 a piece so who's complaining?

These things are WAY more fun than I expected... They're small, they're slinky, they're cool!! I'm using them as part of a craft for some kids... We're attaching them to the bottom of plastic cups to make Star Wars laser sounds!! They're great for that!

I received only ONE slinky. I confirmed that the description said 12 and saw all the other photos of 12 in a pack so I reordered and again, only received one. Returning both.

I have "special" kids that need fidgets. These are wonderful, they all like them. :) One has bent but the other is good still. Often a real full size slinky lasts about two hours at our house. Dollar stork slinky ten minutes. These are small and sturdy. Our slinky crazed kid has been playing with his for several days. Still good. I am crazy excited about these.

I was so excited to get these for my classroom only to find out I received one instead of the 12 that they stated. Very disappointed.

We used these to hang paper-plate flying saucers from the ceiling and they bounced up and down with any air movement - they were great. Some were silver, others gold and they are really small, like one inch diameter so can't imagine how they would work as a slinky, but for my UFO crash scene, they were great!

Be warned! The description says 24 slinkys - 12 gold, 12 silver. When our package arrived, it only had 12 slinkys - 6 gold and 6 silver. I contacted Amazon and was told the price is for 12 slinkys, not 24!As for the slinkys themselves, they were as expected. Small, springy, and perfect as a trinket for an older kid.
