Quick fix
Fitted the washing machine as listed. It didn’t take long to fit (10 mins) and works perfectly so far. Certainly easier and cheaper than buying a new washing machine or getting someone out to repair it.

Perfect
Absolutely spot on replacement for the worn out motor brushes. They were a little sticky on the back spring that keeps the pressure on the motor spindle but a little vasaline sorted that.

Fixed our washing machine.
We've a Beko WM6143S which was reluctant to start filling and washing. A few seconds after pressing the start button, the light started to blink; and it wouldn't start until you pressed the button again, and thumped the door handle. This made me suspect the door interlock. This fixed the problem nicely. When refitting the door seal retainer, I used bicycle tyre levers. It helps if you have someone else who can hold one of the (three) tyre levers.
