Mama Tom Yum Moo (Spicy Pork Flavor) Instant Noodle Packs of 30

I tried this brand because Maruchan instant ramens are high in saturated fat and I thought that these particular MAMA ones were not. I thought that the MAMA Spicy Pork Flavor had almost half the saturated fat. I was wrong. They are actually higher in saturated fat!!!The noodle packs are just much smaller. I used to eat two packs of Maruchan ramens at a time. Since MAMA ramen packs are much smaller, I would need to eat around 3.13 MAMA packs to get the same amount of noodles. So let's do the math. Two packs of Maruchan ramens have 14g of saturated fat. But 3.13 packs of MAMA ramens have 15.65g of saturated fat!!!The MAMA noodles have a very light texture, which one might think tastes better than the heavier density Maruchan noodles. But they don't fill you up. It's not worth it to eat only one pack. Two packs might suffice for someone who is used to eating nothing all day, but to me it felt more like a medium sized SNACK rather than a small meal.Next is the MAMA broth seasoning is horrible! It tastes like 100% MSG. You can't taste anything else but the MSG. The pork flavored Maruchan broth tastes like 100% pork. I loved it. I even used it to flavor my rice while it was cooking in the rice pot. If this MAMA broth seasoning tasted like 50% pork and 50% MSG, then it might be worth trying out. But it doesn't. It tastes like 100% MSG and I would never finish off the broth or use it to flavor my rice. It's disgusting!Finally, my last complaint is the price. You can get Maruchan ramens for around 25 cents a pack. These MAMA packs are a little over 75 cents each, so three times as much. But remember??! These MAMA ramen packs are SMALLER than the Maruchan ramen packs. If they were as big as the Maruchan ramens packs, you'd really be paying $1.17 per pack. That's almost five times as expensive, but you're getting MSG broth instead of pork broth and MAMA ramens won't really fill you up.

It tastes much better than any other brands. We love to have it for quick lunch

I've looked for this, my favorite flavor of Ramen noodle at my favorite Asian store, Fubon in Portland, OR - They have been out both times. Finally was able to get a 30 pack for about the same price per pack as the grocery store. It is a fantastic meal when adding some Kimchi and green onions or a little sliced pork.

This is mama, one of the popular instant noodles all over the world. Tasty and easy.
